Average Rating = (n ÷ (n + m)) × av + (m ÷ (n + m)) × AVwhere:

n = number of ratings an item has currently received.
m = minimum number of ratings required for an item to appear in a 'top-rated' chart (currently 10).
AV = the site mean average rating.

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 72.3/100, a mean average of 71.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 72.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.8.

High energy noise pop start to finish, my first exposure to this group was when I saw them open up for Weezer and Pixies, they started the set with Riot Rythym and I was hooked
Heavy stuff on ears. Good
Was absolutely blown away by this sound, literally and figuratively. I remember thinking "why does music this noise-heavy sound so awesome". I don't know, but it does
I had no idea that loud noise could sound so great before I heard this. "Rill Rill" is the "nicest" track; "Infinity Guitars" will blow your ears off.
Teen pop vocal melodies with dancey hardcore guitar stylings is a recipe for fun.
super fun to play loud as hell on some sick headphones. kinda falls apart in the middle because sleigh bells is really not as fun to listen to when they slow it down. favorite tracks: treats, A/B machines, Kids, & Tell'em
this album broke all the genre constraints I previously had. Thank you sleigh bells!
Try to imagine a cool hard rock / metal album cut-n-pasted as samples backing a delicate-yet-rowdy cheerleading squad. It's a very odd combination that RAWKS but not in the usual way you'd imagine a rock record rocking your world.
Fun album. Interesting, different, but not something I could see being replayed over-and-over again. Rill Rill is my favourite track.
Best album of the year. Well actually probably the third best. However, without a doubt the best surprise. Play it loud and play it often.
