Maybe his best solo album, some great songs here: Speedway to Nazareth, Silvertown blues, What it is, and the title track. Note the listing is for the US version, the international version has "13. One More Matinee" instead of "6. Do America"

A fine album made only finer due to contributions from James Taylor and Van Morrison. A bit of a dropoff from my personal favorite Knopfler album, Golden Heart, but still quite good, and better than anything he's done since, in this listener's opinion.
A good one but Kopfler had not really found his perfect solo sound here. The two first tracks are amazing though!
