Xiu Xiu's first for Bella Union and their most 'accessible' to date. Identifiable shades of Morrissey are easily noticeable not only in it's all consuming misery but in it's ability to provide a mouthpiece for the disenfranchised. It's pop music alright, but it is markedly warped.
