I would deem this their magnum opus. So many of their best songs on this. No weak spots. Truly great record. Fucking gold
Found Powderfinger bit boring their first few albums. Odyssey 5 Is certainly one of the best albums I’ve ever heard . Classic in Australian culture

This is highly un-Australian of me, but I listened to this album yesterday and was pretty unimpressed. It's fine, I guess, but nothing I haven't heard before from countless alt-rock bands. The songs are well-written, but again, there's nothing much that's unique about them either in composition, arrangement or production. My Happiness is a great pop song, though, I'll give them that much.

This is the perfect album from start to finish and the connection of the first and last song is very clever and brilliant musically. Every song is great but My Happiness is their gem along with Like A Dog, My Kind Of Scene and These Days. The album was voted best Australian album of all time on the Australian alternative channel Triple J and is thoroughly deserved. Do yourself a favour and listen to this great album of clever rock n roll
