Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 2% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 79.3/100, a mean average of 79.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 80.0/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.6.

Belíssima composições musicais! A voz muito emocional!
This album is a masterpiece, and sold be enjoyed in its full extent from track 1 to 10. There are no clear "hits" among its tracks, but after listening through the album several times you will probably find some favorites. The album is best enjoyed in the optimal listening position of your stereo, nicely leaned back with something good to drink. If you dedicate 45 minutes of your life to this album, you will find yourself being an even better edition of yourself afterwards.
This album feels greater than the sum of its parts, which are all solid and work perfectly in the order of the tracklist. I love how the instrumentation builds with each song until the massive "Mountaineers." While always melancholic, the songs range from desperate to hopeful, and Susanne sounds beautiful as always. Matches or exceeds "Ten Love Songs" for me.
Fantastic album from an amazing artist.
No track really stands out on this record like certain show-stoppers on "Ten Love Songs", but Susanne Sundfør has crafted an elegant art pop / chamber folk record that maintains its melancholic yet hopeful mood extremely well and transcends the "pleasant but not much more" critique that other artists in the same genres receive. This is down to her fine vocals, sharp lyrics and a more ambitious production than the status quo. A lovely piece of work that radiates a mixture of emotion.
