EMA's most frustrating album yet, as it kind of lets her worst instincts as a composer (distortion for the sake of distortion) at times drown out her always-compelling musical persona, and a few too many tracks feel unusually bland and half-baked. It does have it's high moments (Aryan Nation and I Wanna Destroy are her strongest straight-up 90s-style rock tracks, Fire Water Air LSD is her most bonkers experiment yet and Recieve Love bizzarely feels like a castoff from You Are Free-era Cat Power) so not a complete bust, but it's more of a head-scratcher than a blast to the skull this time around.

Weird that this went under the radar as much as it did, but a really haunting, inventive gem.
