Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 65.5/100, a mean average of 62.8/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 62.8/100. The standard deviation for this album is 19.4.

When musicians from different bands come together, sometimes it can create something completely new sounding. This is not the case with this. I like Rage Against the Machine. I like Cypress Hill even more. But that is exactly what this sounds like. Cypress Hill vocals over some retreaded Rage riffs. It's not bad at all. It's actually quite alright.... just nothing new.

It is easy to wait much more from this merged "superband", but it is, then, way more deceiving to discover the annoying vacuity shouted so loudly in this poor album. Deceiving.

In a mix some of these songs are ok... to listen to the whole album is pretty painful though. In theory this should be amazing: Chuck D, the band of Rage, and dude from Cypress. But no... it just kinda falls flat. If you got a happy go lucky smoke weed mentality and don't need any meat to be good enough, it might be fun for you. Living on the 110 and who owns who might be the only real decent songs.
