Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. I loved This Is The Life so much that this was going to be a hard act to follow - this makes a bold attempt but didn't hit them same level unfortunately but still a decent pop record
