This album is somewhat experimental, but in nearly all the wrong ways. The minute or so long tracks of Jack rambling add nothing to the album (they're also really cheesy and cliched). The last track "Humoresque" is a real low point, because although a lot of the other tracks don't really take off, they're nowhere near as boring as that one. Tracks 6th through 9 are probably the best point on the album. I had to comment after seeing Fantano give this thing a 9 out of 10.
At first I was pretty confused by this thing, but after a few listens, I am confident that this is one of the best, and perhaps the most interesting album of this year so far.
This album sees Jack White pull the listener in so many different and unique directions, that even if a few of them don't actually go anywhere, they are all fascinating on some level.
Some of these directions include the brooding spoken word leading to rage and frustration on Everything You've Ever Learned, the wall of noise on Hypermisophoniac, and funky staccato grooves on Corporation.
The real highlights here are Connected By Love, Respect Commander, and Over and Over and Over. Each of them are larger than life and build to stunning climaxes; however the latter track, Over and Over and Over might be the best thing Jack White has produced since Icky Thump (another fantastic record).
Overall this album is a great listen, and I'd recommend everyone go into this with an open mind, and to expect multiple listens.
Damn, this is a great album, one of the best of 2018 thus far. Almost feels like Jack White's take on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Really glad White isn't playing it safe.

Pretty interesting experimentation. Production is stunning, but songwriting is a little bit less focused than on Lazaretto and Blunderbuss. After hearing it several times I can say I truly enjoy the record and like the direction Jack has taken. We need more artist like Jack White!
A masterpiece of modern rock.White jumps around sounds and genre with ease and mastery. As a long time fan, I'm for the first time feeling like I have something as good as white stripes material to associate with white. This album is art.
