For those not familiar, this is a side project by long term Porcupine Tree keyboard player, Richard Barbieri who was also the keyboard player of 1980's synth pop/rock band Japan. In fact Steve Jansen and Mick Karn, formally of Japan also put in an appearance on some tracks and Steven Wilson plays acoustic guitar on track 5. Another great musician in Theo Travis provides soprano sax on two tracks. Richard Barbieri provides all the other instrumentation which is atmospheric and lays a foundation for Suzanne Barbieri's beautiful voice. I think this is the only Indigo Falls album they produced. If you like Porcupine Tree or some of the more melodic Japan work then you may like this.
