IMHCO The greatest album of all time.
Have just listened to it all through, for the umpteenth time, with my wife, who really doesn't like this kind of stuff that much, cheerfully humming along in the background to the gnarly bits of Cop shoot cop!
Bought it the week of release on tape and have never regretted a second of listening to it.
Remarkable feat of musicianship!

A fantastic record from Spiritualized that is packed full of beauty and quality. When I first listened to this record I was really worried that it was going to drag but I was proven very wrong. I got completely lost in the music with the final track wrapping up before I even knew it. I think this is primarily due to the outstanding instrumentation we get on here. It blows me away when I revisit this record with how many instruments there are on here and just how brilliantly they are all played. It is a fantastic array of instrumentation that all work together so well to create this greater soundscape which feels so grand. They also create these in depth and rich layers which not only gives you plenty to notice on future listens but feel so satisfying to hear them fit together so perfectly. This is well displayed on Broken Heart which is one of the highlights of the album for me. Furthermore, they create this unique shoegaze space rock sound that you can't really get anywhere else which only adds to how impressive this release is. Overall, this record stands out as not only one of the greatest records in the 90's but also one of the greatest records of all time and it deserves more praise for the quality it possesses.

Spacenoise

Truly an awe-inspiring experience. The title is correct, it really does feel like your floating in space. The instrumental arrangements here are near perfection. 9/10

When you thought Spaceman Jase simply couldn’t top the masterful ‘Lazer Guided Melodies’ five years on he does exactly that and then some with this classic that mixes psychedelia with gospel, Baroque Pop, dream pop, straight up rock and shoegaze into something that is both gorgeous, heartbreaking and brilliant

Shame this one came in 1997, as it was ultimately completely overshadowed by an all time album titan from a band starting with R and ending in head

Really good except the noisey parts but I found good songs on this album. What the noise is going on I’m very sensible about that but ok I like the album nevertheless. Best tracks: Cool Waves, Ladies and Gentlemen we are Floating in Space.

Stunningly amazing album. I couldn't even move a limb while listening to it for the first time.
I think it's best described on the album cover: 1tablet 70 min.
