"Dave's 2nd album is more elaborately fleshed out both musically and lyrically. This album really bridged a shift in style from the 1st album to the rest of their output. "being a die-hard nick cave fan, it is hard for me to imagine what this album would sound like to someone who does not know his other work. Still, it is my favorite. One of only a few pop albums that i would include in my desert island list."
