Duncan Sheik makes singer/songwriter pop here pretty successfully.
B Sides Good Morning and Magazines are excellent but generally tails off toward the end.
The first 6 tracks are strong. I'm surprised this guy only ended up a one hit wonder with Barely Breathing in 1996. He is a good writer and singer. His albums vary from sparse and complicated to mainstream and hooky.
He is underrated and has been around a while. Give him a listen.
