Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. I can't believe I thought at one point that this was ever decent to begin with. A bloated and faux-psychedelic side project that tries to recreate Revolver but fails spectacularly. The only bearable track here is The Morning Son, but you have to get through 12 other insufferable tracks to get to that one. I can't stand it anymore.
Simple, straight, catchy songs are included. Beteer than I have expected.
I have to admit I really enjoyed this album from the first listen onwards. A great start to life after Oasis. Just bought their second BE and unfortunately they haven't had the same effect. Some great songs, Four Letter Word, The Roller are up there with some of the great Oasis songs and The Beat Goes On is a good slower one too.

Very good effort by Liam and the rest of Oasis minus Noel. Didn't expand musically and a little more mellow. The Roller ranks up with any Oasis single.
First time I heard a song of this album I was shopping, it was being played on the hotbed of quality music that is Asda Radio. I recognised Liams voice but couldn't quite put my finger on the Beatles album track he was singing and it really did my head in. Turns out it wasn't a cover but a Liam original. How he must have wept when he heard Noels solo album.

Could've been worse... It has no identity but in general it works because of Liam's voice, I don't see them tracending though...
I thought this was a lot better than I expected. Listened to it loads.
