Miles Davis is my favorite artist of all time. It was difficult to choose an album to represent here. But Filles de Kilimanjaro is perfect for me. An impressive blend between the period of the second quintet and the crazy electric years. Listen loudly!!

Ram is part of me. I love this album. I memorized every musical note, every detail of the record. The context in which it was recorded in secret in New York with hired musicians contributed to a differentiated aura present in the album. Anyway, I find Ram extremely creative and to this day I listen almost daily

A masterpiece. The way the album was recorded is as fascinating as the album itself. This is the edge of the Stones with Mick Taylor and Keith Richards. Absolutely amazing and bluesy

Hard to choose a Bowie album for the list. It could be anyone from the Berlin trilogy, Aladdin Sane or even Let's Dance. But I get Station to Station. Still with a touch of Funk / Soul, here he begins to flirt with the elements of krautrock and more experimental music, which for me makes the album special. It is at this stage that the character appears The Thin White Duke, who like Ziggy Stardust, was recorded in the annals of rock history as one of the most important characters in world music. In the album, only classic, from the title track (an imposing epic almost ten minutes long), through "TVC15", "Stay", "Golden Years", "Word on a Wing" and "Wild is the Wind ". One of Bowie's best career records

Neil Young is for me King of Rock and Folk! Maximum respect for this unique artist in history. I remember his epic GIG in Rock in Rio III in 2001, a true catharsis in the form of Rock n'Roll. Neil is the true definition of an authentic artist.

Os Mutantes is the best Brazilian band of all time and undoubtedly one of the biggest in the world in the 60s. I believe that in terms of psychedelia they were the best in their time. Arnaldo Baptista is simply a genius. Hard to choose an album to be on the list, it could honestly be any of them. I pick the most progressive one. Os Mutantes are essential for anyone who likes music!

Members locked themselves in the studios, and decided to create a record where they did not have to show anything to anyone, just for them even though it was still possible to do something they liked. Anger of the members towards the press made them decide to self-produce.This was one of the best records in Brazilian rock history.Psicoacústica took shape and became what many today call visionary, daring, creative and even cursed and suicidal. psychedelia with hip hop, rap, reggae, mod, heavy metal and other less relevant genres make the album difficult to assimilate in the first auditions.But after careful listening, it is impossible not to savor every second of a seminal album that turned to be years later the most acclaimed and worshipful record of the band."

The first 40 albums, along with the comments are fantastic. So unique, so interesting ~ 95/100 territory. But from about 44 onwards, the charts seems to loose coherence, the album choices seem odd (compared to what came before) and feels like it has been chucked together. Sorry if that's not the case, but that is how it feels to me. (Edited)

Interesting chart. I like so many british and so many '70's, and I love On the Beach so high. As always with these type of charts, I miss some comments to justify your choices.

Great stuff, gotta listen to some of the Brazilian choices.! I know like 5 Brazilian albums here and in general it feels like I've barely scratched the surface of country's rich musical history. (Edited)
