Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 50.7/100, a mean average of 49.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 49.5/100. The standard deviation for this album is 27.1.

This is Creed’s worst album of their first three albums and even then it’s still a solid album and not bad at all. It’s just that a couple of songs and With Arms Wide Open (the songs that sums up and represents everything people hate about Creed) really bring the rating down for this.

Radio friendly singles make this the band's highlight album. The clear standout among Creed's album output.

This isn't a bad album. It's actually quite solid. While My Own Prison is a great post-grunge/hard rock album, this is a good, albiet more radio-friendly album. I really like "Higher", "Wash Away Those Years" and"What If", and "With Arms Wide Open" is a guilty pleasure.

I dunno, at least Creed ain't as bad as Nickelback.

Quite good, to say it's the second album of Creed I have gotten through.
With arms wide open is the key track on this album, What if is the heaviest track on this album, Are you ready? is a great start to this album and the other songs such as Beautiful and Higher are ok, but I need to give the other songs on this album a few more times to listen to on here, but for now, I give this a solid 70/100, I don't like it as much as Nickelback but it's still very good to listen to if you're a post-grunge rocker.
NOTE: I will listen to other none single songs a few times eventually and the rating of this album could change or stay the same depending if I like them or not.

This album is a meme. Regardless Arms Wide Open and Higher are saved to my library... I'll admit it.

Don't understand the hate for Creed, as far as I'm concerned this is a pretty good album and I actually like Scott's voice.
