Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 33.7/100, a mean average of 26.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 26.2/100. The standard deviation for this album is 21.1.

Lil Wanye tried to make an epic comeback but it sucks. Lucky, 8 years Lil Wanye actually made a decent album.

Watch Lil Wayne appropriate western culture to the point of mocking it (I mean, “dope boy with a guitar”), but the result is sure interesting. The auto-tuned and distorted vocals seem to go perfectly with the cheesy guitar riffs and choruses. The lyrics are extra dumb for Lil Wayne’s standards though. But hey, who lets that get in the way of their listening experience... nearly everyone on this website is the answer apparently.
Also who knew Lil Wayne could be so soulful on “I’ll Die For You”.

(I know that rock music is originally african american culture, but the type of rock music that’s presented on this album sure is an interpretation of that rock ‘n’ roll by western people)
