Shortlisted for the 1999 Mercury Music Prize. The winner was OK by Talvin Singh (Edited)
The songs are all very melodically similar, but there are so well-executed and the lyrics so distinctively different, that they keep your attention. The whole point is the capturing of a feeling at a time in young adulthood that everyone can relate to. A well-deserved 9/10! (Edited)
Loved it, Was worried that the first 5 tracks (mostly the singles) would be the best and the rest of the album tracks would be a big drop off but I enjoyed them all. Just Looking is a beautiful song and one of their best. Kelly Jones' voice is one in a million and often makes mediocre songs into good ones, but the rest of the band really put in a shift here too. Their best album for me.
I continue to be baffled as to why this band doesn't get more recognition (Edited)

Underrated album, no weak tracks here. In my top 50 albums. T-Shirt Sun Tan is one of my favourite tracks. (Edited)
