Undoubtedly one of the most underrated post-punk albums going, with lyrics providing an insight into the working classes during the 1980's. The album holds energy and 'catchiness' similar to that of the Damned whilst its basslines provoke comparisons to those of The Cure.
Perhaps one downfall is many of the songs on No Rest For The Wicked sharing the same sound, a drawback applying more to the first half of the album. Whilst this leaves the listener uninterested on a few tracks, it simply makes the superior tracks stand out, particuarly No Rest

I love this band's early stuff. This is along with Vengeance one of their two best albums. Title track No Rest is a storming anthem and one of my favourite all time tracks.
