Australia’s least known and under appreciated musical export Angus Andrew AKA Liars and “friends” releases here on album number four a relatively focused and accessible (in relation to his earlier pieces) collection of tracks that wander the musical landscape dabbling in industrial, noise, driving rock, early 80’s synth pop and The Jesus and Mary Chain circa 1985. This self titled album is a great way for new comers to introduce themselves to the weird, wonky shambolic world of Australia’s own Liars
Not their best. Lacking something... heart? Can a Liars albums be said to be lacking heart? Not much really interesting going on here. Not entirely, bad though. Just... blah.
