Great opening track. But then an album of two halves. First half I find is mainly 'lobby' music. Second half improves with a bit more diversity as the songs flow into each other. Overall alright but nothing overly exciting.

If you told me in '97 at the festival that Weller was on when I said "fuck this Clapton shit" after 3 Weller songs that he'd be my most listened to artist (solo) in 2020, I'd have said welcome to old age. Well here it is. Great album, up there with his handful of beltas when he has the fire. Bit long like. Love his voice the older he gets. The tabs have been good for it, if not for his skin.
Paul Seller's white album. An sprawling and eclectic album that sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. In truth, there's nothing particularly brilliant on here, but it is fun. Good album.
This is a really good album with all the songs working really well together. An eclectic mix of songs and influences for the album but it is certainly one of his best.
Some great songs on this album, in my opinion his best since Stanley Road. It would have been better and could have been a classic if it was condensed into a single album.

I LOVE THE FACT HE DOES WHAT HE WANTS...A DOUBLE ALBUM IN 2008, BRILLIANT...SOME EXERCIZES IN INDULGENCE BUT WELLER HAS CERTAINLY EARNED THE RIGHT LIKE FEW OTHERS HAVE..."HAVE YOU MADE UP YOUR MIND", "COLD MOMENTS" AND "EMPTY RING" ARE MAGICAL...OTHER FAVS ARE "SEA SPRAY","ECHOES" AND "ALL I WANNA DO"...MANY GENRES..."ONE BRIGHT STAR" WORKS WELL...
