Like this album a lot but it's held back by a few boring songs in the second half.. Leave off 'Cocaine Killed My Community', 'Thrills Have Gone', 'Strange' and 'Sinking...' and you're left with a suuuperb little 38 minute LP (my cd copy had Woke Up This Morning as closing track).

After the great LP that was Exile, Alabama 3 is back. Maybe a more consistent effort with less memorable tracks. They towed down the electronic influence a lot more on this LP in favor of focusing on more homey instruments. It worked for me and I thoroughly enjoyed this album.
