I agree, easily Jay'z most underrated album. "Ignorant Shit" ranks with "99 Problems" as the best track he's ever made and he's rhyme's are great throughout, with of course some of the best beats out there. When Jay tries, he's the best ever. It's disappointing he more often doesn't try than he does.
America Gangster is one of his most underrated albums. Jay Z really bounced back after his 2006 release Kingdom Come. This is a solid album, one of Jay Z's best. Best Tracks: Roc Boys (And The Winner Is...) and Ignorant Shit.

He retired, didn't he? He might as well have retired after that gawdawful "Kingdom Come" album. i only heard a couple tracks but that's all i needed to hear. i don't care that he's rich and boasting about it. Give me the smooth grit of Blueprint thank you. Jay-Z delivered with "American Gangster". He tha sh|t all over again. Check out "pray" or "roc boys (and the winner is)..." and tell me otherwise.
