A mythic danish folk-rock album. It didn't gain any attention upon release; only in underground music scenes, but during the years that followed it slowly garnered cult acclaim in Denmark, and today it's considered on of the greatest danish albums released. The quintessential danish 60's album. Eik Skaløe's lyrics are still warping and intriguing, though heavily Dylan inspired. Itsi Bitsi is one of the best danish songs. The only other danish song-writer who can be compared to the talent of Eik is C.V. Jørgensen.
The songs are quite conventional, but in a danish context they're one of a kind. A must for danish music-enthusiasts.
The album has probably garnered a lot more attention because it was the only album released by Steppeulvene and because of Eik's strange death only a few years after the realease of 'Hip'.
