Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 69.9/100, a mean average of 67.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 69.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 18.7.

Say (or hate) what you want about Korn . But they sound unique , freaky bass-lines , groovy drums and emotional vocals. Plus : Untouchables is a good album as well. (Edited)

A well-refined, mature and ambitious sound, full of sometimes dull verses that open up into monstrous choruses with catchy vocal lines that make the wait worthwhile. Overall a lot more consistent than their previous two albums. The majority of songs don't hit quite as hard as some of their previous standout tracks, but it's definitely more poppy and accessible, and overall a more enjoyable listen from front to back.

Standout tracks: Make Believe, Thoughtless, Hating (Edited)

Even though Korn have an unmistakable sound, with this there's a bit more diversity within the vocals. It's like they took the 'nu' out of the metal and went with just the metal. Not the best from them but not bad. I liked it.

Another good album by them. They sound more consistent and ambitious here than on their previous albums but I dunno if the songs are really as good. Oh well, I like it. (Edited)
