As of 2023 maybe their most "atmospheric" album. Apart from the great "Death in fire" the songs are compared to their other albums rather slow and "carried".
"As silent gods stand guard" might be my favorite song of the album, but also "Thousand Years of Oppression" and "... And Soon the World Will Cease to Be" come close. All are very melodical but stand out against the others. The title track and "Across the rainbow bridge" are also great songs with great riffs, the rest is still really good but compared to the others they fall of a little bit.
Classic "Amon Amarth" themed lyrics, maybe their most "silent" album, which i like very much.
