Recorded at Town Hall, New York City on November 8, 1947, this evening witnessed two jazz legends at the peak of their respective powers thrilling the audience in fortunate to be in attendance. Blue Note Label issued this album some 50 years after it took place. In 1997 technology had improved and the sound o this album is now immaculate. Released as (Cat#: CDP-532139) the sixteen tracks here sparkle. Authenticated on discogs.com.
