Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Excellent album which is very upbeat from the off. Piano work is an absolute pleasure to listen to. The first three tracks steal the show but the whole album is superb.
Scenes from the Southside doesn't differentiate much from the prior album The Way it Is, but the songs remain quite enjoyable and Bruce Hornsby's piano work is excellent once again. It just doesn't have the high notes of their debut album.
