Emotive and cinematic, 'Rough and Beautiful Place' successfully straddles the fine line between being heartfelt but not overly sentimental and, in so doing, cements itself as probably the finest ambient album I've yet to hear from this year.

This is a beautiful merging of influences from contemporary east asian piano music and the kinds of experimental instrumental music from places like Drag City. Or at least that's how I see it, the title track is essential listening.

Que sensibilidade incrível!
This is a new album by the person behind the Parannoul project, however it is more ambient sounding than some of their other work and as a result is a really pleasant listen
