It gets better after Track 1; let's just get that out of the way at the outset. I like that the track titles tell you exactly what instruments you're hearing, so you don't have to guess (except for Track 9, "Long Singing," which has no singing and isn't even the longest song on the album). All in all though, very nice. Many of the tracks are actually quite pastoral and almost relaxing, without delving too much into "ambient" territory. As for the flower on the cover, I believe that's a white phalaenopsis orchid, but I'm not a florist, I just pretend to be one on the internet.
