“Sister Midnight” and “China Girl” are iconic, but that’s it. Makes me wonder whether I shouldn’t actually call this a Bowie album.

This is what happens when you combine Lou Reed, Bowie and Iggy Pop.

The boozier sibling to Lust for Life. Also vital.

A really solid record for Iggy, and a unique sound overall

As much Bowie's album as it is Iggy's, this is a great complement to Bowie's 1977 albums "Low" and ""Heroes"". Very much in the same art rock vein, it's a great album, but in my opinion is the weakest of the three.

Another classic Iggy Pop album. Recorded around the time Bowie was recording his low, and, heroes, records, the idiot, goes for the same dark feel of alienation. Great.

Honestly I don't get the love for this album. Bowie's production is great but this is a very uninspired collection of songs. Not bad, but nothing too remarkable and after 3 listens nothing jumped out at me. It doesn't help that Iggy's voice doesn't sound great when he's coming like he does here -it creates kind of a creepy vibe but not one that's too interesting to me. Definitely a solid record, but not remarkable for me to come back to again.

Perhaps became famous for being Ian Curtis's last album he played before his death. A cool album and Iggy Pop found a new sound and style thanks too Bowie.

A bit overated to me... It's a fine album with some of Iggy's best tracks (Funtime, China Girl), but to me it's far from the magnificiance of Lust for Life or New Values.
