Great eighties pop album. Induces happy feelings and brings thoughts of summer. The opener and 'Say You Say Me' are personal favourites.

The first album that was ever truly mine. I had just turned 8. I put it on my Walkman and my life with music was forever changed.

Lionel had a dream ... he "had an A-W-E-S-O-M-E Dream". The title cut is so saccharine that dentists paid Richie royalties for all the dentures it caused. This is where Richie lost all credibility as anything more than a schlockmeister.
