I was a little hesitant going into this art rock album since the genre can be very indie/constantly repetitive, but this record here doesn't have this problem for me. I'd say that the album starts with it's weakest track which starts nicely and then evolves into some confusing mess with the awful sound of the drums. After the intro though it starts picking up momentum which I didn't expect :D I really like how lush this album is with it's anime-like instrumentals and simple guitar and synth melodies, it really fits the album cover. All tracks flow together pretty well and give me a feeling like I'm experiencing one large piece of music rather than just listening to it mindlessly. Another thing I enjoy are the lyrics, I think they're lovely and direct, but the vocals themselves aren't that good. Probably the only song that the singing somewhat fits the song is "The Apocalypse Made Me Brave". Shortly after this track we have "End" which perfectly releases the pressure from this fast-paced and catchy album.
Overall I think it's great! Loved the flow, the energy, almost everything and will probably return to a few songs :)
