A very nice surprise, go to my top 100 best ever albuns
A pretty strong album, weighed down by some unfortunate forays into a dreary folk music vibe.
This album does have some fantastic songs but the quality is let down by some few poor cuts. The instrumentation stays consistent throughout and keeps the same feel and atmosphere. The quality does drop nearer the middle and you can tell when listening to certain tracks that they are filler. It is very progressive and experimental at times and I really enjoy the vocal delivery on the record. Definitely worth a listen if you enjoy this type of music as it is a very relaxing and easy flowing album.

If it wasn't for the long pauses I would've thought it's a one songs album. Good songs and regular songs, I liked it a lot but defo only keeping one or two songs from this onto my playlist.

Having heard great things about this album I was excited to check it out, unfortunately I came away disappointed. I just could not get into it .Maybe I need to have another listen or 2 ? I really like Shields and their 2017 release Painted Ruins & recommend both albums.
One of the tightest albums I've listened to. Splendid production.
