By turns, eerie, self-indulgent, sensual and hilarious (sometimes simultaneously), David Lynch's "Crazy Clown Time" is, perhaps unsurprisingly, a profoundly bizarre debut filled with atmosphere and his wacky sense of humour. Even though it's of a lesser quality compared to the majority of his films, his debut is a work of art that undeniably feels like it was brought to Earth from another universe (it sort of was if it came from the depths of Lynch's mind). For Lynch fans, or for fans of warped americana, this is definitely a worthwhile listen.
