This massive ten disc compilation from Collectables Records (Cat#: COL-CD-1393)(UPC Barcode: 0 90431 13932 5)feature 140 tracks of old doo wop, street corner acapella, and early rock'n'roll by the artists that laid the foundation for today's popular music. Most of the songs are featured in various compilations but not on a set as comprehensive as this. The later discs in the set start to include too much mid-60s music. It is a little unsettling to hear "California Dreamin'" on the same disc as "Earth Angel" for instance. That is a small complaint. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon of music awaits. (I couldn't find this particular compilation listed on discogs.com, but did find it available on ebay.com (https://www.ebay.com/itm/185102976000)
