Smokey is a great songwriter and his talents are shown on this album which includes "Tears Of A Clown" which is, arguably, the greatest song ever written
A great addition to the Motown catalog. Smokey and the crew create some classic soul pop on this record.
Really good album...great opening couple of tracks, more love is stunning, and ends with the classic tears of a clown. I only own this one and the previous album Going to go-go which is also great....this ones better though with more interesting arrangements.
