Oh, they are standing in a field. That is like the most original thing I have ever seen! You know who else stand around in fields all day? SHEEP! SHEEP DO! And they look like dirty punks too... dirty punks. Well that is the sort of thing people will say about this album from a distance. Well short distance because you are likely holding it in your hand or looki... you get the point. These guys are white crayons in the box of intelligence. They are dull strings and lack the "integrity" of David Bowie LPs. No matter how much I go on all these convictions can be dispelled with such ease that it isn't even a game. 'Somebody's Mother' shines brighter than any match 'The Clash' struck in their first years and 'Walls Of Silence' and 'Heroes' experiment with the original 'The Day The Country Died' formula and create rubber bricks of magenta rapid FUN! IT'S FUN! And informative! What more could you want!? A guitar solo? These guys could have changed the world a little more if the right ears were lended. Seems they were in other baskets when 'New Boy' was playing. Really, what type of band records that? The lyrics are poignant there and summarize this album, life itself and evils of humanity. They will put you in boxes and sully your name. DESTROY ALL BOXES! ... and listen to 'Worlds Apart' and 'Time Flies' too. Those are both great. I'm done.
