Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album has a Bayesian average rating of 67.4/100, a mean average of 65.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 66.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 12.7.

This album doesn’t have any big hit singles and doesn’t get much mention but I believe this is waiting to be rediscovered. The album is well produced and good throughout especially the 2nd half. Favorite tracks are Don’t Blame Me, The Sky is Crying, & Pretty Eyes. This definitely slipped through the cracks.
Musically the songs are quiet catchy, but lyrically very average. Its nice to listen to but their is no great songs on it.
It's ok but far from his best
Oh how the mighty have fallen.
Not one of his better albums for sure. The first have is good but the back half is rather forgettable. Best Track: Swing Low, Sweet Chariot

Not his best. Sounds almost lazy.

While not particularly memorable, there are some good tracks here. Clapton's reggae themed take on Swing Low Sweet Chariot is the high point, and the whole album has a bit of a reggae/gospel theme. His rendition of The Sky is Crying is another high point, and Better make it Through Today is one of Clapton's better original recordings.
