Eric Clapton's solo stuff doesn't get enough love on BEA. The man is best with an electric guitar in his hands, but he proves with this album that he can handle the blues on acoustic as well as anyone. (Edited)

This album served as a reinvention for Clapton that introduced him to a whole new generation of fans (myself included). The Unplugged versions of Layla and Tears in Heaven are almost as popular as the originals. (Edited)

Great unplugged, with very nice songs like "Before You Accuse Me", "Tears In Heaven" and "Layla". However, sometimes it is a little bit boring.

I agree with the whole new generation thing... I wouldn't even care Clapton existed if it weren't for this album (well the singles that came from it).

First 7 songs are FANTASTIC and the remaining 7 songs I can start to see why people say it's boring. (Malted Milk probably being the best of the last 7).
