Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. Totally agree with previous comment. Two good tracks (Good Times, One Thing) but the rest is just generic boring 00's post-grunge, nothing special. Not sure I'd listen to again.
Couple of good songs. But as a whole it just has a very generic 00's rock sound right through which verges on boring. There's some songs that start well and you think could be alright, then they veer off to be a bit shit. Not an album I visit much.

Geez... These guys were some much better before they were pandering to commercial rock radio.
