Former Triumph vocalist/guitarist/songwriter brought us a most excellent solo debut. Leaning slightly away from the hard rock format of Triumph towards a hard rock-oriented adult contemporary feel, this album still give up nothing in terms of passion and Rik's always exemplary musicianship. The two perfect 10s on the album are "Stand and Deliver" and "Middle Ground" with "World of Wonder" and "Heaven Only Knows" not far behind.
