Van the Man released a few good albums late in his career, this being one of them. This was originally in my top 10 of 1999, during a big Van phase I was going through, before I got a bit bored with the annual barrage of Van Morrison records.
This one is solid throughout, and closes with one of my favorite Van tracks: "Golden Autumn Day."
