To me this is an expansion upon Wings Greatest Hits with additional singles, B-sides, album tracks, etc. The problem with that album and this album is it gives you the impression that this is Wings and not Paul McCartney's solo work as well. I'm also puzzled by the selection. Maybe it's difficult to ever compile a prolific artist onto an album or two, but why No More Lonely Night (Play Out Version), Lovely Linda, Call Me Back Again [overrated], or Waterfalls [horrible lyrics]. Was this Sir McCartney's selections or the record company? No matter what, this is a slice of music from one of the greatest songwriters in musical history - simply put it can't be that bad.
Great overview and intro to Paul's post-Beatles work. Seek out the unedited versions of Junior's Farm and With a Little Luck, though.
