This was my first exposure to Youth Group, who've been around a couple years. What stands out first is the songwriting. This is an album of finely crafted pop songs, all equally as much a stand out as the next. Check out the shimmering guitars on "Sorry" or "Under the Underpass". Too bad this album was widely ignored -- they deserve more accolades and greater success. Reminds me of a more pastoral gin blossoms or the format.
