This was a random purchase at a Starbucks back when they had random albums sold at the register. It became a favorite for me and my dad quickly and took over an entire summer for me. It really shows off the band's versatility, moving between pop rock, hip hop, latin rock, and more with ease. I feel like it gets passed over because of how all over the place it can be, but every track off the album is super solid if not excellent. I don't know exactly where Ozomatli fit in the musical canon, but they are certainly severely underrated.


It's ironic to me that this is the album of theirs I fell in love with first while already having heard and loved the song Saturday Night on Madden 05 without realizing for years that it was an Ozomotli track. (Edited)
