k.d. lang pays tribute to her fellow Canadian artists by releasing an album filled by some of their notable compositions. lang performs songs by Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Jane Siberry, and Leonard Cohen (2 songs each); also single songs by Bruce Cockburn and Ron Sexsmith, and one co-written by herself and David Piltch. It adds up to "Hymns Of The 49th Parallel" - a terrific album of folk-y goodness.
