Season 4 was not only the best season (by far) of Lost, but it featured the best music that the show had to offer. The centerpiece of the season was a track called There's No Place Like Home which was played for the first time near the end of the season but stuck all the way through to the series finale. An absolute tearjerker of a song, it is in my opinion the best piece of music that Giacchino (composer for Up, Star Trek '09, Alias, Fringe, The Incredibles and more) has ever produced. Not to say that the rest of the soundtrack is lacking. There are extremely strong tracks like The Constant, Of Mice and Ben, and Ji Yeon.
One of the best soundtracks I've had the pleasure of listening to.
