Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 17% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.2/100, a mean average of 75.3/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.3/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.9.

I think this was the first concept album of ex-Yugoslavia. It's a story of a relationship, from the beginning (from the first meeting to the breakup) told from her (singer's that is...) perspective. I'm mentioning the latter part, because the lyrics can be occasionally kinda a (stereotypically) female "experience" of a love and relationship - from the "he doesn't remember what flowers I like, so he obviously doesn't love me anymore", to being as emotionally labile, as to go from crying on the fifth song (Plačem = I'm crying) to getting back to being happy on the sixth song and then back to crying by the seventh track (Ležaj od suza = Bed of tears)...
But anyway, it's a nice theme that continues throughout the album, and I like how the music accompanies the lyrics (and thus the current "state" of the relationship). Another interesting note: First letters of each song (lyrics, not titles) form her name.. More accurately, they form "Josipi Lisa", which would translate to "To Josipa Lisa"... "C" is missing :D.. Although the last word said on the album is "stranac", which does end with the -ac... So maybe they thought of that... Well whatever it's not like it's that important, just an interesting side note.
Anyway... Without thinking of the concept, it's still a great album, with some interesting, mostly prog pop/rock arrangements, and occasional use of "Macedonian" rhythm (don't know what time signature that is, nor if it's actually "Macedonian".. But one of my favourite yugo songs of all time, Time's "Makedonija" uses it too). Her distinctive vocals really add to the power of the album, too.
Track picks: O jednoj mladosti, Srela sam se s njim, Vjerujem ti sve.
