Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album has a Bayesian average rating of 60.8/100, a mean average of 57.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 57.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.8.

she kind of apes black styles and r&b trends, from mariah to tlc — and not unsuccessfully — but the persona is dropped like a bad habit post Can't Take Me Home. and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. like the awkward blaccent she acquires in the beginning of You Make Me Sick? Tf was that? I dont blame a young star for being at the mercy of her label's trend chasing, but white musicians cherry picking black styles when its convenient for them and dropping them when it isnt is a glaring sign the music is disingenuous

but i did actually enjoy this more than i expected, early pink wields solid pop instincts

An artist trying to find her identity. First song "Split Personally" sounds like she's channeling Britney Spears and Christina Aquilera. Elsewhere she's Ann Wilson from Heart, Stevie Nicks and Beyonce. Who is Pink?
